email from present owner November 2017:
hi, I emailed recently regarding 0jh48l being restored and roadworthy, i have an mot on her, and did have a v5 but no vin number attached, i have applied, for registration to dvla, and hit a brick wall after five weeks of discussions email and photgraphic evidence, I have an old mot with the original owners name on the reverse, an old insurance document for 1982 of the previous owner that sold me the bike. it's the age old story not enough proof that this bike is the same bike issued 73. I was told to get a bsa club to certify this is the same bike and they would issue an age related number, the number doesnt worry me only the fact of getting the vehicle back on the road as i have spent money and time on this project!
